INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION UNIT
The International Cooperation Unit is the point of contact for researchers and academics, as well as their families and host institutions.
Our team provides foreigners with information on specific topics related to their visits, ranging from residence formalities to useful tips.
The team liaises with various units and institutions to ensure that all visitors are assisted and feel welcome at the Institute of Pharmacology.
The International Cooperation Unit:
- Advises on formalities: visas and residence permits, registration, health insurance, work-related issues, supports foreigners in contacts with local authorities: the Municipality Office of Kraków – Urząd Miasta Krakowa, the Małopolska Provincial Office – Małopolski Urząd Wojewódzki, etc.
- Provides information on finding accommodation
- Provides information about life in Cracow and Poland
- Organises events for foreign guests and their families

EURAXESS POLAND NETWORK
At the beginning of 2025, the Jerzy Maj Institute of Pharmacology of the Polish Academy of Sciences is seeking to join the EURAXESS Poland network. The aim of the Institute of Pharmacology is to provide international scientists and their families with the assistance and information they may need during their stay in Poland and to start working with the Institute. Our institution makes every effort to ensure that its high quality services meet EURAXESS standards and welcomes international scientists to the scientific community of the Institute of Pharmacology.
The national coordinator of the EURAXESS Poland Network is Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange.
