Tydzień Mózgu i Dzień Mózgu 2025 -Brain Week and Brain Day 2025.

From March 10 to 14, 2025, we warmly invite you to attend the events of Brain Week 2025 in Kraków, entitled “ADVANCES IN NEUROPHARMACOLOGY: IN SEARCH OF NEW DRUGS.”
The lectures will take place in the Auditorium Maximum of Jagiellonian University, located at 33 Krupnicza Street, at 5:00 PM from Monday to Friday, in an in-person format.

All lectures will be delivered by researchers from the Maj Institute of Pharmacology of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Kraków, which celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2024.
Brain Week has been organized in Kraków since 1999 as part of the international Brain Awareness Week, under the patronage of The European Dana Alliance for the Brain (EDAB), The Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives, and FENS. The event aims to popularize science, raise public awareness about the proper and pathological functioning of the brain, and highlight the necessity of research in this field due to the significant impact of brain disorders on quality of life.
In Kraków, Brain Week is organized by the Copernicus Society of Naturalists (PTPK), Jagiellonian University, and the Jerzy Maj Institute of Pharmacology of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The Institute is represented on the Organizing Committee by Professor Irena Nalepa, who has co-organized this annual event since 2011.

Brain Day 2025 for School Youth
Brain Day has been organized since 2020 by IF PAN in Kraków, initiated by Prof. Irena Nalepa in cooperation with the Copernicus Society of Naturalists and Jagiellonian University.
This year’s theme: “The Importance of Diet and Inflammation in Brain Function and the Process of Drug Development.”
