The British Pharmacological Society has announced the acceptance of new Members and Honorary Members of the Society for 2024.

We are pleased to announce that Prof. PhD Katarzyna Starowicz-Bubak, head of the Department of Neurochemistry at IF PAN, has been accepted as a member of the British Pharmacological Society for 2024.

Forty people were elected to membership, and 13 people were awarded Honorary Membership. Honorary Members are elected for life in recognition of outstanding achievements in science, health care activities and public service. The newly elected Members are individuals with numerous achievements in the field of pharmacology, as evidenced by their papers, publications, research presentations and involvement in the life of the Society.

Congratulations to Ms. Prof. PhD K. Starowicz-Bubak this award, which is undoubtedly an expression of significant scientific achievements and contributions to the development of pharmacology. It also reflects a commitment to the discovery and development of new treatments. Mrs. Professor’s work not only contributes to the advancement of science, but also inspires younger generations of researchers and students.
